Fractional CTO
Hands-on technical leadership for businesses that need senior engineering direction without the full-time overhead. I embed with your team to ship, hire, and set the technical bar.
Technical Strategy
Architecture reviews, technology audits, and roadmap planning. I help you make sound technical decisions that align with your business goals and scale with your growth.
AI & Automation
Cutting through the AI noise to identify where automation and AI create genuine value, then building a pragmatic plan to get there. No hype, just measurable impact.
Advisory
Board-level technology guidance, due diligence for investors, and strategic counsel for founders navigating complex technical decisions.
Selected Work
Recent advisory and hands-on engagements across AI, automation, and technical strategy.
Manufacturing Automation & Process Optimization
Welding robot evaluation and AutoCAD-to-BOQ automation for a commercial kitchen manufacturer.
Manufacturing Automation Process
Manufacturing Automation & Process Optimization
Welding robot evaluation and AutoCAD-to-BOQ automation for a commercial kitchen manufacturer.
Advised a commercial kitchen manufacturer on two fronts: evaluating welding robot solutions (guided vs. autonomous, vision vs. memory-based) for their custom fabrication line, and eliminating a major sales bottleneck by automating the AutoCAD-to-BOQ pipeline.
Built a centralized parts database with auto-tagging, scripted data extraction from supplier datasheets, and laid the roadmap toward BIM standardization with Revit.
AI Adoption & Workflow Automation for Insurance Broker
AI adoption, document extraction, and client onboarding automation for an international insurance broker.
AI Insurance Automation
AI Adoption & Workflow Automation for Insurance Broker
AI adoption, document extraction, and client onboarding automation for an international insurance broker.
Partnered with an international insurance broker across three engagements. Ran workflow interviews to identify bottlenecks and rolled out enterprise AI agents for their knowledge workers.
Built a document extraction pipeline that handles complex multi-format PDFs from different carriers — text-based, image-based, and nested tables — outputting clean, standardized client reports.
Delivered a full-stack proof of concept for client onboarding that automated questionnaires, authorization via DocuSign, and email workflows, all integrated as their personal CRM.
AI Agent Architecture Review & Roadmap
Architecture review and release roadmap for a prototype SDR AI agent.
AI Agents Architecture Advisory
AI Agent Architecture Review & Roadmap
Architecture review and release roadmap for a prototype SDR AI agent.
A roofing business operations consultancy had built a prototype SDR AI agent and needed a technical audit before scaling it to clients.
Worked with their leadership and systems integrator to validate scope, conduct a security and compliance-focused architecture review, define the release roadmap, and surface risks with clear remediation paths.

Brain Dump → Structured Day
Shipped An AI-orchestrated productivity system where voice brain dumps flow into a structured Obsidian vault. Claude Code parses the chaos, breaks it into atomic tasks, and books focus time on Google Calendar — all hands-free.

ShippedAn AI-orchestrated productivity system where voice brain dumps flow into a structured Obsidian vault. Claude Code parses the chaos, breaks it into atomic tasks, and books focus time on Google Calendar — all hands-free.
The workflow: speak freely into Wispr Flow, which lands in an Obsidian inbox note. Claude Code picks it up, structures it into projects and tasks using pre-built templates, classifies each task by context (phone, computer, errand), and schedules focus blocks on Google Calendar via MCP. Daily tasks, weekly reviews, and project tracking all stay in sync without manual shuffling.
Idea-to-Pilot in a Day
Shipped A refined stack and process for going from a rough idea or client problem to a working proof of concept — fast. Next.js App Router, Supabase, and Claude Code Opus, anchored by rigorous spec-writing.
Idea-to-Pilot in a Day
ShippedA refined stack and process for going from a rough idea or client problem to a working proof of concept — fast. Next.js App Router, Supabase, and Claude Code Opus, anchored by rigorous spec-writing.
The secret isn’t the tools — it’s the specs. A clearly defined problem statement, user flows, and data model before touching code means Claude Code can scaffold the entire solution with minimal back-and-forth. The stack covers auth, database, real-time updates, and edge deployment out of the box. Most pilots land in a single focused session.

Computer Use Agent
ExploringRunning Claude's computer use capabilities inside a macOS VM to automate the tedious — bookings, travel planning, bill payments. Starting conservative, expanding as trust builds.
The approach is deliberately cautious: a sandboxed macOS VM keeps the agent isolated from anything sensitive. Early use cases are low-stakes browser tasks — booking restaurants, comparing flights, paying utility bills. Each run builds confidence in the guardrails before moving to anything more consequential. The goal is a personal operations layer that handles the friction of daily logistics.
About
An Engineer who's done the work. Sat with customers, built prototypes, validated assumptions, and seen what actually holds up when it meets reality.
Years spent at Google and Cisco working across telcos, media, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and startups, hands-on with customers and engineering teams, progressing from building solutions to architecting them to advising on strategy.
The through-line was always the same: listen to the problem, dig in, test ideas, and come back with something that works.
That same instinct carries into the work today. Whether it's helping a business figure out where AI fits into their operations, or showing a friend how to automate something that's eating their time, the approach is the same.
Understand the problem. Get hands-on. Then recommend.
How I Work
The first thing I do is ask questions. Not to be difficult, but because the real problem is usually hiding behind the obvious one and I want to genuinely understand your business. What are we actually trying to solve? What's been tried? Why did it fail? Sometimes those questions alone change the entire direction of the conversation.
Once the problem is clear, I go build something. A quick proof of concept, a prototype, a working demo. Something tangible that tests whether the idea actually holds up. This has been true my whole career, at Cisco, at Google, and now independently. I need to validate it myself before I recommend it to anyone.
Have a challenge worth solving?
I'm always open to conversations about technology, leadership, and building things that matter.
